- Connection between Edward Verres and Raven being addressed in Death Sentence
In case anyone's wondering, Hope's room naturally became illuminated as she woke up.

If there wasn't already a long-established connection between Edward and Adrian Raven, I would consider this a bit too convenient.
There was, however, and Mr. Verres does have a summon chart spell that's very specifically tailored to him. Wizards don't necessarily get spells of their own tailored to them specifically, so there was the question of where he got that specific spell.
Wizards (usually) have both the advantage of copying spells they see used by others, but not getting spells of their own as naturally. I suppose whether being a wizard is a pro or con by that definition depends on who one knows.
